This recognition honors the guidance of Legacy’s owner Haile Ali, whose support & platform made space for LINER NOTES to grow, the journey of our Founder & Curator Zoe Wiggins, & the community that continues to champion vinyl culture & the importance of archiving. With Legacy’s fourth anniversary & the release of this book, LINER NOTES is proud to be part of the documented history of New York’s record stores in print.

DO IT AFRAID ALBUM LISTENING & Q&A

For the vinyl release of her new album, Do It Afraid, attendees experienced an intimate Q&A, a personal meet & greet, & an exclusive first listen of the album on vinyl, a full day ahead of its official release. Attendees also had the chance to purchase the record early and have their copies personally signed by Yaya, making it a night to remember.
